I graduated from Ottawa in 2003 and completed my family medicine residency in Ottawa in 2005.  I joined the Clarence Rockland Family Health Team in 2007.

From an early age, I have held a steadfast belief in the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. This conviction has not only shaped my personal choices but has also been a guiding principle in how I approach both my professional and family life.

In my personal journey, I have always strived to prioritize nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and adequate sleep. These pillars of health form the foundation of my daily routine, enabling me to maintain energy, resilience, and overall well-being.

Beyond my own practices, I am passionate about instilling these values in my family. I believe that cultivating healthy habits early in life sets the stage for a lifetime of wellness.

Frustrated with the limitations of traditional medicine, the scarcity of resources, and the rising epidemic of chronic diseases, I found myself at a crossroads in my career. I yearned for more effective ways to serve my patients and to truly make a difference in their lives. It was during this pivotal moment that I discovered the transformative field of lifestyle medicine.

Lifestyle medicine offered me a new perspective—an approach that focuses on addressing the root causes of illness through lifestyle interventions such as nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and sleep. This holistic approach resonated deeply with me, aligning with my belief in treating the whole person rather than just symptoms.

In embracing lifestyle medicine, I found myself again—reinvigorated and passionate about empowering patients to take control of their health and well-being. I realized that by integrating this approach into my current practice, I could provide comprehensive care that not only treats illness but also promotes long-term health and vitality.

Today, my goal is to incorporate the principles of lifestyle medicine into every aspect of my practice. I am committed to helping my patients achieve optimal health through personalized lifestyle interventions that are grounded in evidence-based medicine and tailored to their individual needs.
